The NHACPM is a professional association of public
sector
managers and supervisors. To be eligible as an active member,
an
individual must have earned the designation of Certified Public Manager
(CPM) or Certified Public Supervisor (CPS) through a management
program accredited by the National Certified Public Manager
Consortium.
Certification is granted after satisfactory completion of an extensive
program of classroom training, study, research, examinations; and
demonstration of those abilities through completion of individual or
team projects.
Other categories of membership include: Associate members (individuals
currently enrolled in a CPS or CPM program.) Affiliate
Members
(individuals who actively support the CPS or CPM program, such as
mentors, program instructors, CPM advisory board members) and Honorary
members (individuals elected by the NHACPM board.)
